Different types of facelifts

Everyone shows the signs of aging differently. Wrinkling and sagging skin may be concentrated in different areas from one person to another; and some will develop excess fatty deposits, while others may experience a loss of volume in the face as a part of their aging process.

Because the aging process is different for different people, there are a number of different types of facelift available, using different techniques and concentrating on different areas of the face.

Non-surgical vs. surgical

For many cosmetic problems, there are both surgical and non-surgical options available. For example, wrinkling and other signs of aging may be treated with a traditional facelift, brow lift, or other procedures; but in many cases, they can be treated non-surgically as well, using injectable fillers, BOTOX® Cosmetic, laser surgery, or other procedures.

Even the surgical nosejob (rhinoplasty) has competition from new non-surgical nose job techniques that form and smooth the profile of the nose using injectable fillers.

Revision surgeries and why patients want them.
