Common reasons to have rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty, commonly known as nose job is a safe and effective way to drastically improve your facial features and consequently, your self-esteem. Dr. Azizzadeh is the author of the preeminent facial plastic surgery textbook "Master Techniques in Facial Rejuvenation," which is currently in second print and is currently writing his second textbook " Master Techniques in Rhinoplasty".
When you look in the mirror are you bothered by the shape of your nose?

Rhinoplasty surgery is one of the most common procedures in the field of plastic surgery. It is popular among both men and women—of varying ages and classes.

A “nose job” is most often considered a way to enhance your appearance and tailor your face to become symmetrical ; your features should compliment each other. This is indeed the most common reason people opt for this procedure—to enhance their appearance and their self-esteem.

But there are other reasons for this procedure as well. For example, say you were a wrestler in high school and you had your nose broken several times. Maybe it healed when you were young, but as you aged, it’s slightly crooked shape became more and more evident.

Or maybe you have a deviated septum, and while your there are no visible signs of a problem, you experience difficulty breathing.

Perhaps you are of ethnic heritage and want to change the shape of your wider, flatter nose. Or you may have the opposite; a narrow nose that does not coincide with the other features of your face.

If you are considering cosmetic facial surgery, rhinoplasty or revision rhinoplasty, please contact Dr. Babak Azizzadeh in Beverly Hills, CA today.
