Cheek Lift

The Cheek lift is a surgical alternative to collagen injection for improving the nasolabial folds ("laugh lines"). This technique is an in-office or outpatient procedure that utilizes small incisions in the hairline and special sutures to smooth out the nasolabial folds. Local anesthesia is used and the results typically last about 5 years as compared to 3-4 months for collagen. The recovery time is about 4-5 days.

Individuals of any age who desire specific improvement in the nasolabial folds will be quite pleased with the outcome of their cheek lift procedure. The cheek lift procedure is often combined with facelift procedures to provide a well-balanced facial rejuvenation. Additionally, patients who have undergone a prior facelift procedure and desire subtle improvement in the nasolabial fold are also good candidates for a cheek lift.
