The R.O.S.E. (Regaining One's Self-Esteem) Fund is a national non-profit organization committed to ending violence against women and their children by assisting women survivors of violence to regain their self-esteem. By helping women to achieve a positive self-esteem, The R.O.S.E. Fund hopes to empower these individuals to achieve self-sufficiency, rebuild their lives, and ultimately help end violence within society.

The R.O.S.E. Fund intends to help women bridge the gap between being victims and becoming survivors. The focus on self-esteem is the thread that runs through all of R.O.S.E.'s initiatives. With programs aimed at educating the public and promoting women's self-esteem and confidence, R.O.S.E. hopes to bring an end to the epidemic of violence against women and provide women with role models who demonstrate the magnitude of what individual women can achieve.

Dr. Azizzadeh is part of the Reconstructive Surgery Program which provides free reconstructive surgical care for women who are survivors of domestic violence. By improving the physical scars of domestic violence, this program hopes to further improve the survivor's self-esteem and confidence.
